Die Casted Parts

We supply die cast parts in aluminium and zinc to UK manufacturers in automotive, aerospace and electronics. Some jobs we tool and cast ourselves. Others we place with a foundry we already work with, because the part suits a process or a cavity size we do not run. Either way you deal with one supplier and one purchase order.

Process choice drives the price. High pressure die casting suits thin walls and high volume, and pays back the tool cost quickly once you are past a few thousand parts. Low pressure suits thicker sections and parts that will be pressure tested. Gravity casting suits lower volumes and heavier castings where a cheaper tool matters more than cycle time. Send us the drawing and the annual quantity, and we will tell you which of the three costs you least over the life of the part.

Aluminium castings go where weight and heat dissipation matter: housings, brackets, heat sinks and covers. Zinc castings hold finer detail and tighter tolerances, which suits connectors, locks and small mechanisms. Read more about the processes on our die casting, aluminium die casting and zinc die casting pages.

Castings rarely leave the tool finished. We machine sealing faces and threads on our CNC machining line, deburr and texture through sandblasting, and add corrosion protection with electroplating or anodic oxidation. Die cast housings often ship with the fasteners and spacers that go into them.
